Power Codes: A Gift from My Teacher, Terri

Some of the most useful tools I carry came from a woman who gave them away freely, without ceremony, just because she thought they might help. That was Terri.

Terri was my teacher first, then my mentor, then my friend. She passed a few years ago, but if you know anything about people with genuine spiritual gifts, you know that passing doesn't mean gone. She continues to send guidance my way, and I continue to receive it with gratitude.

One of the things she taught me that I return to again and again are what she called Power Codes. I want to share them here, all in one place, in her memory — because they deserve to keep circulating, and because she would have wanted that.

What Are Power Codes?

Power Codes, as Terri described them to me, are Universal Codes — spoken invocations you direct to the Universe when you need assistance with a specific situation. Think of them less like spells and more like gate codes. The gate already exists. The code simply tells the Universe you're asking for it to open.

To use a Power Code, you don't need any special preparation or ritual. You simply say the code — either out loud or silently — with clear intention. The "x" between the numbers is spoken as the word "times" or “by.” They can be used daily, and Terri always said the more consistently you use them, the more you notice their effect.

She used to tell a story about a man who cleared his workplace every single day using a Power Code — for over thirty years. The office stayed healthy, happy, and stable. People thrived there and stayed for years. When he retired without passing the practice on, things shifted almost immediately — illness, turnover, low morale. When someone finally learned why and took over the daily clearing, the energy returned. That story has stayed with me. It's a quiet testament to what consistent, intentional practice actually does.

The Codes

• Protection To shield yourself from negative energies, environments, or people: "I ask to shield myself with power code 9 times 9."

• Clearing a Building or Environment To raise the vibration of a space — your home, office, hotel room, or any environment: "I ask to clear this building/environment using power code 17 times 3 to the level of peace and love."

• Clearing and Blessing Food To clear and bless what you eat: "I ask to clear and bless this food with power code 9 times 9 times 5."

• Prosperity To attract prosperity and abundance: "I ask to bring in prosperity with power code 10 times 2." To attract money or abundant good specifically: "I ask to bring in abundant good with power code 5 times 1."

• Clearing Fear To release fear: "I ask to clear fear with power code 7 times 0."

• Sending Love To send love to a person, place, or country: "I ask to send love to [name] with power code 5 times 8."

• Balancing and Activating Chakras To balance and activate your energy centers: "I ask to balance and activate my chakras using power code 3 times 3."

• Protection from Theft To protect your home or vehicle: "I ask to protect my [house/car] using power code 5 times 7."

• Enhancing Creativity To magnify creative energy: "I ask to enhance my creativity with power code 9 times 3."

• Raising Your Energy Level To lift your emotional, mental, and physical body: "I ask to raise my energy level with power code 5 times 2."

A Few Notes from Terri

There is no single right way to evoke a Power Code. You might say "I ask to..." or "I evoke..." or "I am activating..." The Universe knows what you're reaching for. What matters is the intention behind it, not the exact wording.

These codes need to be evoked each time you want them active. They don't run in the background indefinitely on a single use. The practice is in the returning to them — daily if you can, consistently if you're able.

How I Use These

I personally use the protection code every day, sometimes multiple times a day – when something feels off (for me or my family), when I open a ceremony or meditation, after I close, or just whenever I think of it. My personal evocation goes something like this: “By the power of 9x9 I cast a shield of protection against any lesser vibrations which may seek to harm, intentionally or otherwise.” I’ve used this for over 10 years now, long enough to forget whether the phrasing was from Terri or something I created myself. I cast that shield for myself and sometimes my loved ones, wherever they are.

I too have tried the building code: “By the power of 17 times 3 to the level of peace and love I clear this space from all negative vibrations.” I did this frequently when I worked in an office and I could always tell the days I forgot – the vibration was definitely different.

I use the others here and there whenever I think of them. Perhaps it’s a combination of elements that make these so useful but speaking them out loud, with the clear intention, definitely raises the vibration in the space!

In Her Memory

As best I know, Terri received these codes through her own spiritual lineage — passed to her by a mentor, channeled through her spirit guides, or some combination of both. I don't know their precise origin, and I think that's honest to say. What I can tell you is that the structure of Power Codes — spoken numerical invocations directed at the Universe to activate a specific energetic response — echoes across several traditions without belonging exclusively to any one of them. The use of multiplication to amplify vibrational intent appears in Pythagorean and Kabbalistic numerology. The declarative "I ask" format resonates with New Thought decree work, where spoken intention is understood to activate something already present rather than create something from nothing. The concept of universal codes as access keys rather than spells has threads in both metaphysical spiritualism and certain channeled teachings of the 20th century. Whether Terri's codes were drawn from one of these streams, emerged independently through her own guidance, or represent something genuinely their own, I can't say with certainty. What I know is that they work — and that she gave them freely to anyone she thought they might help.

Terri was a lifelong student of the metaphysical arts — a medium, Reiki Master, life coach, and ordained minister who held certificates from institutions across the UK and US. She gave these codes to her clients whenever she sensed one might help. She gave them to me more times than I can count.

I share them here the way she shared everything — freely, because they might help, and because the best way to honor someone who gave so much is to keep the giving moving.
